Pakistan Hajj Balloting New Date 2018: Not a good news is waiting for those people who applied for the Hajj Balloting scheme because the Balloting that was going to take place on 26th January 2018 has been stopped. Its new date is going to be announced. The reason for this is a Stay order by Sindh High Court.
Pakistan Hajj Balloting New Date 2018:-
Some people had entered a petition in Sindh High Court claiming that there are some flaws in this Balloting as this is against some rules of Hajj policy 2018. Some issues are present which should be tackled before Balloting. So, Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench gave a stay order to stop the Balloting and make new Hajj Policy.
The new date for Balloting will be announced in a few days. According to Minister of Religious Affairs, if the balloting had been done on 26th January 2018, they would have some months to provide better facilities to the Hajjis and arranged Hajj with better management this year but as the date has been delayed; the leaving and stay procedure of Hajjis might be affected.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also gone to the Supreme Court. A large number of applications have been received this year which is approximately 3,74,800 throughout the country. 1,20,00 Hajjis would have been selected for the journey to Hajj this year. The greatest numbers of applications were received from Karachi with 81,985. Lahore followed by 72,483 applications and Islamabad was on the third number by 68,896 applications.
People have been waiting for this Balloting and they have been disappointed by the Balloting date being delayed.
